Pro stem cell research…?

If you are for stem cell research continue reading.

I need to know information on stem cell research that I can summarize into a page analysis.

Also, I need to know why is it prominent in Today’s News.

Please provide links to information and if you answer a question be sure to put if its your opinion or facts (if it’s facts you should provide at least one reference to a website that shows your facts…)

Thank you =].

P.S. – Don’t give me that “ohhh.. why don’t you do this on your own time? Don’t make people on yahoo answers do your homework kid thats pretty sad….” 1) I don’t need this because it does not help me. 2) This is not homework I just want references for this topic. 3) This is just to help me base my opinion on the subject with facts that are true.

Thanks again.

Okay, first (just in case you don’t know) stem cells are the cells from aborted fetus’s. You see before a cell is designated as a skin cell or a brain cell it’s what’s called a stem cell, sort of a blank cell. Often a stem cell programs itself to what is around it. For example if you take out a small part of a rabbits spine and then inject some stem cells into the gap where the spine is missing it would program itself into the missing part of the spine. So stem cells are often used for things like if someones muscle is rotting or something. The reason it’s in the news is because people are against it for ethnical reasons. It’s a very controversial issue. (All this is fact)
